Our glucose prediction algorithm has been validated against our foundational CGM dataset which is the CGMacros - a dataset containing multimodal information from two continuous glucose monitors (CGM), food macronutrients, food photographs, and physical activity, in addition to anonymised participant demographics, anthropometric measurements and health parameters from blood analyses and gut microbiome profiles. Also! like everything at Clearli this is an open source Type 2 diabetes dataset!CGMacros contains data from 45 study participants (15 healthy adults, 16 with pre-diabetes, and 14 with Type 2 diabetes) who consumed meals with varying and known macronutrient compositions in a free-living setting for ten consecutive days.This is the first database of its kind to be made publicly available.

Our model is based on peer-reviewed research and medical multipliers which are then checked against the CGMacros dataset - and shows ~85% accuracy and sometimes even 90%+ accuracy if insulin sensitivity no.s are fed into the prediction compared to actual CGM data. Yes and No. Clearli is built primarliy with India's health focussed individuals and prediabetics in mind - into helping them jump out of the cycle of eventual leading to Type 2 diabetes and metabolic damage. Currently, Type 2 diabetics should without a doubt use Clearli as a robust marker for their quality of life by seeing energy dips (reactive-hypoglycemia) and effects of meals after or before they are even consumed. However, for precise insulin dosages you want 100% accuracy of current blood glucose levels you should refer to a CGM or prick monitor. Clearli plans on integrating your CGMs soon!
